APP PRIVACY POLICY
Create Vancouver Society built the Vancouver Mural Festival app as a free app. This service is provided by Create Vancouver Society at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service, we will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We will also ask users to grant the app access to their devices’ location service to enable a more user friendly experience.
What we do with this information & how it’s shared
Device location service information will not be shared with anyone and only used for the purposes of wayfinding and presenting the murals closest to your location.
If you choose to provide us with information via the optional survey we will share this information with staff members of Create Vancouver Society (doing business as Vancouver Mural Festival) to allow us to have a deeper understanding of our users for marketing purposes. We’ll also share this information with our partners. Lastly, this information may also be shared within grant applications to allow Vancouver Mural Festival, a non-profit organization, to apply for more funding.
We will keep your survey data for no longer than 3 years.
How to opt out of data collection
To ensure your data is not collected, you can choose not to fill in our optional survey, and not to give location service permission to the app. If you have provided data via our optional survey you have the rights to withdraw this data. To withdraw your data you will need to contact us https://www.vanmuralfest.ca/contact and tell us at what date and time you entered your data to enable us to remove this from our record
