Fresh off of completing 2019, we are looking at how to make VMF 2020 even better!

Murals are expensive! So, we are kicking off a 6-week crowd-funding campaign with a goal of $20,000 launching!

After providing four epic years of VMF, an entirely free public arts festival, we are extending a hand to all our supporters and those who want to see VMF continue into 2020. We want more than anything to provide the best VMF yet for our 5th year, but we simply cannot do it without your help.

Thanks to Heritage Canada and many other funders, we're able to pay our mural artists and our production crew at market rates for their creations. Pay ranges depending on size, scale, difficulty, accessibility, safety, and a number of other factors. There are so many costs associated with making the Vancouver Mural Festival a reality each year, and this year we are turning to you, our city, to help us become an even more sustainable non-profit org that brings so much awesome to Vancouver each year.

All donations go towards painting murals in the city including paying for supplies, artist fees, and necessary equipment. We're asking you to support the artists, support the arts, and support the non-profit organization, Create Vancouver Society, that puts it all together for everyone to enjoy.

There are 2 things you can do!

1. Donate here!

2. Share the following on IGFacebook and/or Twitter:

”The campaign has started! Contribute $25 to support the Vancouver Mural Festival to host the largest free celebration of public art in Western Canada!”
